Health Benefits
Health Benefits
Red Mizuna -also referred to as Japanese mustard greens, native to East Asia. Part of the Brassica genus, mizuna is related to other cruciferous vegetables, including broccoli, cauliflower, kale, and Brussels sprouts. There are a whopping 16 varieties of Mizuna, we have selected a beautiful red variety to give some contrast amongst our mainly “greeny” Microgreens! You’ll taste a light mustard peppery flavour, fresh and crisp to the taste buds, but is less spicy than rocket. Another nutrient dense Mighty Microgreen, being high antioxidants and several important vitamins — especially A, C, and K. It may bolster eye, bone, and immune health, among other benefits.
